The tourism of places of worship can continue on the Apuan mountains, towards the hermitages of San Viviano and Calomini, perched on the side of the Garfagnana.
The hermitage of San Viviano can be reached by a path that starts from the fairy-tale village of Campocatino in the municipality of Vagli di Sotto. The church, built by Viviano is set in the mountain and therefore very impressive. Viviano was an ascetic who lived in this valley eating the spontaneous products of the earth. He was revered by the locals as the protector of shepherds and quarrymen.
