A large collection of photos concerning marbles, stones and granites. Many royalty-free photographs concern works made with white Carrara marble. White marble is particularly used in art sculptures, both ancient and modern, in architectural elements (windows, stairs, floors, interior coverings and building facades). Many white marble photographs are taken in and around the city of Carrara. Typical are the houses built with marble stones in the villages of Colonnata and Campocatino in Tuscany. The stock of photographs includes photos of vintage and contemporary sculptures. There are also photos taken in the Carrara quarries, where the material is drawn from the mountains of the Apuan Alps.
