Varese, Lombardia, Italy. About 09-2020. Civic Tower or Torre del Littorio, located in Piazza Monte Grappa. Built in the Fascist period, the tower is covered with Serizzo stone from the Antigorio valley. The cladding is made with two different textures that identify an internal volume with raw treatment and an external box-like volume with a smooth surface. On the first floor there is a balcony used in the Fascist period to hold speeches. The top of the tower features a balcony with three arches. On the right, a Mannerist-style building with a facade clad in red brick.

Edifici Varese.

Torre Civica o Torre del Littorio, posta in Piazza Monte Grappa. Costruita nel periodo fascista, la torre è rivestita in pietra serizzo della valle Antigorio. Il rivestimento è realizzato con due differenti trame che identificano un volume interno con trattamento grezzo e un volume scatolare esterno a superficie liscia. Al primo piano è collocato un balcone utilizzato nel periodo fascista per tenere i comizi. La cima della torre è caratterizzata da un balcone con tre archi. Sulla destra un edificio in stile manierista con facciata rivestita in mattoni rossi. Foto stock Edifici Varese
