The old wooden posts today are replaced by industrial concrete elements. However, the working of the land is almost always done by hand. Sciacchetrà wine is produced in Liguria. It seems that the name derives from the dialect term "sciacca" which means to crush grapes.

Vigneto di uve Sciacchetrà sulle colline delle Cinque Terre. Sullo sfondo le montagne a picco sul mare nei pressi di Vernazza. I vecchi pali in legno oggi sono sostituiti da elementi industriali in cemento. La lavorazione della terra è però eseguita quasi sempre a mano. In Liguria si produce il vino Sciacchetrà.
