The anarchist movement spread in Carrara in the milieu of the workers of the marble quarries. From 15 to 19 September 1945 the first congress of the anarchist movement after the Second World War took place in Carrara. In the photo, a plaque of the anarchist movement commemorates the martyrs who died for freedom.
